The 350Z is built on the FM platform, which is shared among other Nissan Vehicles (SUV's included). I believe the G35 was the first to use this platform.
Half full or half empty...
350Z built on an SUV platform
SUV built on a sports car platform
wat a useless topic, stupid **** is said here about other cars, and stupid **** is said on other forums about every "other" type of car. The internet is a fun place, run with it.

I thought the FX was actually a CUV, Crossover Utility Vehicle. A vehicle built on a car platform
Good point. The 350Z is built on a car platform so the 350Z is not built on a platform used to make SUVs. On the other hand, there are some modern SUVs that drive a lot better than some classic open cockpit sports cars that where built, body on chassis.
