Default Turn signal issue

Maybe I'm just getting old but about once a week I look down and my turn signal is still on. I've never had this issue with any other car. Does anyone else have this problem?

might just be the way you drive it, taking turns faster and wider and thus not turning the wheel past the point where it would click off.

or perhaps the mechanism requires you to turn the wheel too far?

pick one.

Don't worry, it happens to me too.

I guess I focus too much on the sound of the exhaust than the blinker

Quite silent - I was driving down the street with the hazards on (dog pushed the button). With all the road noise from the feathered tires, I can't hear my blinkers...

You are not alone on this one. I think about it every time it happens and then soon forget afterwards, but you now just reminded of all those instances... also, besides having a relatively low to no noise factor for the indicator, but the green turn signal light in my car is barely visible during the daytime.

Sometimes my blinker actually IS silent, as in makes no noise. Sitting at a stoplight, windows up, radio and a/c off, no noise. Other times it actually does make noise. Everything about this car is so touchy and tempermental... sometimes blinker makes noise, sometimes tranny grinds, sometimes can't fill with gas... gah

It definitely is.

And not only do I turn lights on w/o meaning to when I'm signaling, I've also turned them OFF at night when signaling. I was really tired, but STILL.

I'm happy I'm not the only one. I've always gone by sound before and most times I remember but every once in awhile I'll look down and see the blinker and a lot of times it's 3-4 miles after the turn.

If this and grease streaks is my only problem I can't complain. I wouldn't even use them but it's a habit.
