2004 Coupe at Superior Nissan, CA
Superior Nissan - City of Industry, CA has a 2004 350Z Coupe (CS Touring) @ MSRP on the salesfloor.
Except for the NAV door, it is VERY hard to tell the difference between the two model years.
Stop on by and take a look...

Thanks for the post
If anyone goes and checks it out, can you look for a key or switch for the passenger air bags ?
Suppose to be standard on/off switch on the 04's....
Thanks

The NAV door on the 2004...
The NAV door 2004 Coupe I saw yesterday opens and closes much like a garage door. It is not necessary to pull the door then close it.
I didn't notice any other changes.

The new Nav. door pivots right at the top and sticks straight out. Same principal as the console lid. It doesn't slide into the dash anymore. It act as a sun/glare shield which could be a good thing.

I spent a good amount of time in 2004 Base coupe trying to find the knee pads. They aren't there. What is there though are seatbelt extenders on both sides. This prevents the annoying rattle. These parts will be available to 2003 owners according to my service department.

knee pads
I think these are the knee pads .... shown in the lower right corner of the picture in the JDM Nissan FairladyZ catalog for 2003.
These were optional... for Yen 32,000 or abou $ 275. Per the description... for high speed track or circuit driving.. Nissan test drivers used them as well.
