GVWR - curb weight = payload.

If your girlfriend weighs that much, you've got other troubles.

Hey dummy! I was responding to your not having a manual. I could care less about your "useless" payload question.

And learn to read bub...Those manuals are free PDF downloads..

WTF..Where do these idiots come from?

Its 400lbs, that includes passengers and luggage. I'm S.O.L. I'm 220 and most of my buddies are 200 plus. Perfect excuse not to bring them along anywhere

Actually its about 615 lbs. Enthusiast Manual 3815 GVWR - 3200 (appox curb weight) = 615 lb Payload. Enough for you, your 300 lb girlfriend and a big box of doughnuts.

Thanks, first person to post the intelligent/common sense post.

To the rest of you, you see how easy it is to pass up the payload?

If you didn't care, you shouldn't of opened this thread up.

Thinking about buying one, but with a payload so small, can only put so much in the car.

'bout 215 or so, and it seems its 400, I'm already taking up half of it.

If payload or storage capacity are ANYWHERE on your list of concerns when shopping for a car, I can save you a lot of time and money. You don't want a Z.

Unless you're hauling cinder blocks with your obese friend in the passenger seat, you won't go over the limit.

Max payload is two people two sets of golf clubs.

400lbs huh? I wonder if different tires would solve that or if it's suspension related? You could get XL tires (extra load) which would sort a bunch of that out.

How many fat people can you fit in a 350Z?

Guess the only way to end this is by saying, you don't buy a Z if your worried about weight issues, you don't buy the Z and then worry about the gas milage, and you don't buy it for long road trips. IMO you buy the Z simply for the rush you get driving the hell out of it. Its a sports car, japanese at that. JApanese aren't as big as us Americans
