You can fit one wheel behind the strut bar, one wheel infront of it on a 45* angle behind the passenger seat. Two wheels will fit on top of the passenger seat stacked.
Make sure they are all in bags as you will dirty the hell out of your interior squeezing them into the car. Don't drive like an A-Hole, if you get into an accident with two tires in the front seat wobbling around you will regret it.
Best bet, take two at a time in the rear of the car or borrow a truck.

Great... sounds like track days are going to be a pain in the ***. I was under the impression I would be able to easily throw 4 tracks wheels (17's or 18's) in the hatch and head to the track. My MX6 has lots of room for wheels and tools, ugh the ups and downs of a Z lol. (I'm a Z owner to be, just waiting for the snow to go away!)
Five.
* One 18" wheel and tire in the spare tire well.
* Spare tire on top of that
* One 18" wheel in front of the rear strut bar
* One 18" wheel behind the passenger seat
* One 18" wheel in the passenger seat
I still have room for my jack, helmet, tools, overnight duffel, and lunch. Not as much room for anything else.
