Has anyone received their pre ordered 350Z yet.

I ordered mine and was assured by my dealer that I was in the first allotment and would receive it by August.

Now my dealer is telling me that I will not get it until October or November. I called Nissan but one time they said that people are taking deliveries now and another agent said that all production has been delayed and no one will take delivery until late September.

Can anyone tell me what is going on?

 

Uh, you need to look around first before posting. Several members here have gotten their cars in the past week.

a number of people have taken their deliveries this week, i ordered mine in april but I sill have not got my VIN number, you should talk to your dealer to find out your vin and ETA. I'm expecting mine end of sept. beginning of oct.

Sorry about that, I realized after posting my message that others are getting theirs next week. It's unfortunate though that those on the East have to wait so much longer than those in California.

 

There's WAY more to it than that.

Spend some time browsing the first 3-4 pages of posts and you'll get a better idea of what's going on.

I'm in CA. I ordered Jan 16th. My car's arriving in October.

 

Ah, the hazards of buying a Japanese car on the east coast. But remember, if we were buying a European car, we'd get them before the left coast....

Has the Nissan Dealer given you any infromation on why yours will be arriving so late. It seems that it doesn't matter when you ordered in terms of delivery date. I was told when I ordered mine that it is the first allotment of that dealer but still won't receive delivery until October to November.

 

I'm in Calif. ordered March 4th. Expect delivery any day now.

 

For those whose delivery date has been delayed, has anyone been able to obtain information from Nissan on what's going on?

I called customer relations and they told me my dealer has the most current information, but my dealer is telling me that all they know is that they put the order in and expect it sometime in October/November and don't know why it is so late.

I wish Nissan could have handled this whole pre order thing a bit better.
