Thumbs down Gas Tank - Arrgg

My 04 Z doesn't go pass the Full mark anymore and occasionally it's a bit less.
I had the same problem with my 05 z. Funny thing is that I have a similar issues with my FJ Cruiser. With my FJ, the problem only happens with certain pumps. I actually took the 05 z once to the dealer and they didn't see anything wrong with it.

230 doesnt sound full to me. My accord for some reason always fcks up the auto shut off on the gas pumps. I have to pull it half way out and fill it in the perfect tilt position. Pisses me off. It just started doing it a year ago.

sorry i dont have any help. You might want to try the above method. I noticed that certain gas stations are worse than others.

Its the new pumps, alot of states are doing this now they changed the nozzel because of the scare of shortage of gasoline and price gouging basicly its just reading that your tank is full but its not instead of putting the pump all the way down into the gas tank try leaving it about a inch out (Still in the tank of corse but not like all the way down u know what i mean)

Its not your car bro its the United states lol

I had that problem for about 4-5 months for some reason it would only fill up about 3/4 of the way. Then all the sudden it went away and it has been about 2yrs since I last had this problem.

I had the same exact problem with my previous 350, then it just stopped about 4 months later and I never had a problem with it... Just one of those wierd things that happened to me to...

ok.. the gas station I go to changed their pump.. today, I got it over the full level. So it appears that the pump's got something to do with it.
