sigh... Z prices are too low.

I guess it was bound to happen. Makes me want to sell my car now. The 350Z is going to become a car synonymous with teenage ricers. This guy says that his bolt-on z with "200 lb wt. reductin" can stay door to door with a GT500 Mustang and pull a low 13 second evo. It's annoying to see this on the local level. Someone please pinch me and tell me it's a nightmare!

No matter the age. No matter what car you drive if your here your obviously a 350z enthusiast. Who cares what other cars are better or worse or what age a member is that drives/will be buying the Z, if you were a true enthusiast you wouldn't care. If a 16-18 year old buys a Z they're either a true enthusiast or they're gunna get there nut off on that fact that it's RWD and crash it. Either way your still an enthusiast? No?

Been a Z lover since I was 16. I am 38 now with 6 Z cars through my life. Those worried about younger guys driving the Z need to pay attention to the number of 50+ grandmothers I seem to mostly see driving the Z. Enjoy the Z for what it is, a fun to drive, attractive auto and give all of those that do not want to be smart in either their driving or mods all the rope they want.

The Z is the next 240sx. The Z is no longer in production therefore if you own a Z then take care of it. It's just a matter of time till these teen drivers crash there Z's. Sad but true! After a while it's going to be hard to find a Z in good condition. They're gonna be classics.

i beg to differ with you on that one...the 240sx (or rather lets call it the S chassis) outsold the Zs world wide...it outperformed the Z hand over fist in markets where it came with the CA18det and SR20det
ive been told by the director of product development at nissan (when i talked to him at SEMA and confirmed why us 240 guys never got turbo engines here) that the ENTIRE reason the S13 240sx never received a turbo motor was because we didnt have the Skyline GTR in the US and nissan KNEW that the S13 would beat the **** outta the Z31 and Z32 as far as BOTH price and performance go (would you rather spend 15k on a rwd, 4cyl, turbo, 2800lbs 200hp car or 30k+ on a rwd, 6cyl, twin turbo, 3200lbs 300hp car?)...the skyline GTR was the car that weighed out the balance of nissans 3 sports cars correctly...since we were sans that car for so long...nissan had to push the Z as the top dog...and it was FAR FAR from that in other markets around the world (infact the Z was always marketed as the LUXURY sportscar in markets with the GTR and Silvia)
so before you guys start taking negative tones with the 240sx...perhaps you should look at the fact the S chassis were very much an EQUAL contender to the Z chassis...and btw...if you want to see how your 350z holds against a 240...bring it to vegas sometime and well go out on the road course and ill show you EXACTLY where you 350z stands against a mildly built 240sx

My friends 240sx dusted me at the track lol. 401 hp to wheels on pump gas. There so cheap to modify. I just think z looks better. And who cares if it is the next 300zx. In ten years you might have a 470 z and say then, the 470 will be the next 350. There will always be a next. Its not just the z, yesterday I saw a huge forum on the nsx with teens age 18-24 talking about buying the car. I know a kid, 23 whos parents are buying him a frecken Audi R8. I think honestly it's the economy to blame. More people are living with their parents. I live with mine and thats why i got the z. I would rather have a nice car than move out to a house. Cant have both......yet.
Crapy start but proves the point. Will dust most z's out there. Best bang for the buck i guess.

It honestly doesnt bother me that the 350z will be the next 300zx. There are many 300zx's id rather have then the 370z still looks disgusting to me. Im keeping and slowly modding my 350z until i have it where i want it. Then when its paid off and modded like i want it it will become my weekend car and i will have a cheap honda as a daily.
