I sent him an IM with the link, then he went away, but I still sent him a message telling him he should come in here and defend himself.

*Not taking sides, btw*

he has an itrader rating of like 16 and has LOTS of posts. claims he has an M3 and a lotus, and is in the army---to me thats all bs and he can go to hell. he tries reselling all his items over and over when he has nothing (except for a whole bunch of debt if he really DOES have those cars...hes like 22) im glad i didnt send him the $2100 he was asking for the rims... better yet, im glad MOMMA AINT RAISE NO FOOL

He told me exactly the same thing, I asked for pics, he told me everything is packed in boxes never open.

Why does he want to defend himself when hes an obvious scammer?? I doubt theres any retard out there in the world would do that. There is nothing to defend, I got proves all over my computer/cell phones. And I work at a cell phone store, his service was just terminated 2 days ago.

i even said id give him aka his friend an extra $50 to open only ONE box and take a pic. then he said he doesnt have a digi cam. its 2009, WHAT PHONE DOESNT HAVE A DIGI CAM!?!! and **** for $50 i would have def cracked that box open. that was what keyed me in on the scam. if your trying to make a sale and are offered EXTRA money, why wouldnt you take it?

and he wont be coming onto this thread... he a b!tch. what can he say that wont get him flamed?

to OP, why did you buy something you had never seen?? even when he sent me the pics to my email, i immediately searched for the pics on google. and all of his s/n (him...his "friend", all of them.. isnt he supposed to be in indiana in school?) were from like sunnyside, CA. i used an email search to find that out. i know all the tricks of the trade.

I have already esculated the case to claims, I just called paypal, and they are doing some further investigation, Im just very upset that i have that $2300 pending and going to miss out my chances getting a set of new wheels. This really really sucks, 1 month of headache dealing with his ******** wrong address shipping issues, and figured out today that he terminated his cell phone, which is an obvious sign on frauds .

well, you should have his name from the money transfer and in his location he lists Ft. Bragg, NC. If I were in your shoes I would contact the Criminal Investigation Department of the base or perhaps it is called the provost marshals office. provide the information to them and if he is still on active duty you WILL get your money back very quickly and he will do some time.

He's in the Army and in Fayetteville (Ft. Bragg) he sold his Z with the LE's on them and now has a Lotus. I forget what color his Lotus is, but I think I seen it on post before, he seemed like a stand up guy through his posts. I hope he gets whats coming to him! Good Luck!

The problem right now is that im not sure it is the actual user, or somebody else hacked his account and tried to fraud over the forum. However, I am just very very disappointed and sad on my $2300 getting locked and in the process of further investigation.

ALL i did was sending an instant payment without lagging for too long (probalby 30 mins), and this is what i got for my instant payment... WHAT DID I DO WRONG......Jesus

This is insane, I just dropped down from the highest point to the lowest. Few weeks ago, I was thinking OMG i got a set of my dream wheels at an insanely low price and getting such a great deal from him, and now, I am not even getting my $2300 back to possibilly buy another set from a different buyer. >_<
