I think part of the problem was that we didn't get to see VQ's part of the chat session. I asked Victor to send me the complete back-and-forth conversation. The following should clear things up for everyone:
HandsomeVQ: Hey Tako! I love that new Schwinn you got. And the handbrakes you modifed are awesome!

HandsomeVQ: Okay? It hauls butt now! Have you tried peddaling it real fast?
CuteTako: I mean I used only 3.5k RPM but it was pretty first
HandsomeVQ: You've got to get it up to about 6k to really feel the speed, and then, when you are going fast, you try a crazy turn. :-)
