Go take Driver's ED again, buy a cheap manual instead of something like the Z for your first car, and teach yourself how to NOT drive like a moron. You didn't answer Gag83's question, how old are you?

and yes, your thread title pissed me off, moron.
I feel your rage from behind your monitor.

I agree. The 87 in MrJoe87 gotta be the birth year. Regardless, the car has too much HP/TQ as a 1st car for a young inexperienced driver.

FYI, also in for the OP's response of his age.

I also have a 300whp WRX that's never been abused like most would of that power and has only seen the dragstrip very few times... It's expensive to mod these cars and even more to fix them!
I'm sorry I just had to comment on this. Dude, your not a saint beause you haven't gotten a speeding ticket. Your not a saint because you do race or whatever in your car (s?). I'm 29 and have had a new car every year since I was 16. Big floppy deal.

To the OP. HHmmm, sorry for your accident but dude, you need drivers lessons. Insurance is a good thing. Body kit and new tires out of the deal. Too bad your Z now has that crash on file.

I thought our car's insurance rates were high because the car was literally built with racing in mind. But I see this is exactly why. Appearantly it requires a lot of experience to drive one. And with stories like this the rates will never change even when the car is 20 years old.

I it doesn't matter on the age, but it is revelant to most "My Car Wrapped Around A Tree" thread. The reason why most people blame age is due to the driver's experience.

I used to be young too (now 31), and I used to do stupid things just because it just was the cool thing to be/act stupid. Now with experience, most of us do mature and realize that we just have to be careful in what we do. That's just the truth.
