Making it through the first year can be tough. That's the “experimental” period. Markers are slippery. Painted lines are slippery.

BTW what kind of tires do you have?

Cooper all-season tires are crap. Saving $200 on tires can cost you your life.

TCS kicks in if the rear tires are spinning. By then it may be too late. TCS does not care if the rear tires are sliding sideways.

VDC and TCS don't make the car idiot proof.

I figured I'd hold off on getting new tires until I bought new rims, I really want those GT rims off the Nismo Z's but they're so hard to come by, but at this point I'd be better off spending the extra money for stickier tires now, rather than waiting who knows how long, for the nismos to come around.

Thanks for the link too =)

Well don't feel bad. I my first car got crashed within the first 3 days of me getting it. Got cut off and swiped my a 18 wheeler. I'd say just use it as a learning experience. This should at least give you a newfound respect for RWD.

" <!-- google_ad_section_start -->Are all Z's destined to be crashed?!<!-- google_ad_section_end -->" <<< no, they arn't, all idiots are destined to crash though, so you might wana blame yourself, not the Z. I feel sorry for the Z for having such a shitty owner/driver.
Go take Driver's ED again, buy a cheap manual instead of something like the Z for your first car, and teach yourself how to NOT drive like a moron. You didn't answer Gag83's question, how old are you?

and yes, your thread title pissed me off, moron.

This is exactly why a rear wheel drive sports car should never be the first car someone owns, particularly when they are young. I'm really sorry about your experience, but sometimes experience bites us in the butt when we are stupid.

Glad you're not hurt.
