Question Gold Emblem?

I was(saw) a black touring/orange with golf(gold) emblems for the front back as well as side.

Where can I get those?

Since we are paying close to MSRP, I'm ordering one with fully doaded.

Can I get a one with S-tuned up? Will manufacturing in Japan put Nismo's part on new order?

Thanks in advance.

Hog

it took me a minute to decipher your post, but i think ive figured it out. first, ive yet to see any gold emblems (or golf emblems) for the z. second, you cant order a z with nismo parts from the factory. numerous dealers have offered "nismo 350zs" with dealer installed nismo parts. however, dealers usually just mark-up these cars over what the car and parts are worth, and since youve already ordered or purchased your car its a little late for that.

I also once was a black touring/orange with golf emblems for the front back...

Ahh the good old days...

Hog, I like your writing style. To answer your question, I don't know where you can get gold (or golf?) emblems for the Z but I don't think you should get them. People already like you for your witty misuse of English, they don't need to like you for your ghetto ride.

Sorry for the typo, I was in hurry to go play golf during lunch hours with my co-worker.

I did see 2003 350z black/orange with gold emblems, and that car was from Tustin Nissan California.

They must have taken the emblems off and coated them with either gold paint, or something similar.

Edit: ares beat me to it.

Check with an auto detailer on the gold emblems. I can't remember what the exact name of the process is called, but it's like electroplating. You can get them in all kinds of colors. (gold, chrome, black, smoked pearl are just some of the colors)

the emblems are plastic, this leaves very few methods other than painting, most forms of coloring such as powder coat, electroplating, or anodizing require a conductive and heat resistant base(metal).

A friend of mine had her Altima trim done in gold a few years ago, and that detailer was able to do the plastic parts. I'm probably wrong but I think the process might be called "hot foil transfer".

That might be the funniest "S" I have ever read on this board

Hey man, don't go with the gold. The "smoked" look badges would look allot better on your car.

I think Ive heard of that, its more or less the same process they use for the inside of tail lights hand headlights to make them "chrome".

most likely the same process they used to make the stock emblems shiny silver.

Default Gold On Brickyard

The emblems are not plastic but are metal. Thin but metal.
Gold Electro Plating can be done to make them gold.
Dont let your dealer do it. They had done some on my new car purchase and wanted $2000.00. Before it was over they threw it in for free, and told me the guy who did it here locally(Central Illinios)for $300.00 . I spent another $150.00 and had some others.

Front and Back Nissan Emblems
Sides Z Emblems
Wheel Centers Hub
Sill Plate Z's(Black with golded Z's)
350Z Left Rear Emblem
Exhaust Tips(only the rim) very thin line. looks great.
Steering Wheel Hub

and placed a rear 350z on my Nav door, with the Z gold, and 350 remaining silver like the rest of the interior.

Call a local detailer or trim professional. They will have the scoop for ya.

I have seen the gold emblems on a Japan website. The link was on one of the other 350Z sites. Don't know if they are available in the US.

I found it. Here is the link.

Default I have seen silver.

I like the Japanese web site above. I would search Japanese website. Or call these people and see if they can get them.
