Why'd you choose the 350Z over the G35 coupe?

The Z is a true sports car that makes you smile every time you drive it. The G felt like a car I may want to drive when I grow up, just turned 60 so maybe a G when I'm 80 or so. Also, no rattles, squeaks or other problems.

Honestly i wanted a sports car. Everyone says the G is luxury etc. I honestly dont think its that luxurious. Besides a little quieter on the inside i like the interior of the Z more. If i was going the "luxury" route i would go audi, bmw, etc.

Z man, the G35 IMO is nice and all but has its cons that made me sway to a Z. The interior of the G is way too spacious.. I was after a small, compact, sleek, sporty, fast car. I found the G too big, not as nice of headlights, the front bumper on the G is sedan styled, the shape is not as extreme as the Z.
The Z has it all. IMO nice interior, great for crusin, great feedback from anyone that sees it, you look damn cool driving it, girls are all over it, its fast from factory, everyone loves a Z, more rare to see, cooler taillights, sleek body..
I had the same debate with myself when I bought my Z, the dealer I went to had both the Z and the G side by side and I chose the Z, and it wasnt a price debate.

imo, i picked the z because at the time, i wanted a 2 seater sports car, didnt have enough $$ for a g at the time, and liked the overall styling better (except for the rear, g= sex). z's are alot less common than g's, which i've come to realize is almost a stple for a dentist lol. every other dentist/doctor, etc. has them. and besides, i just picked up a g sedan as a dd, so i got the best of both worlds

My dad drives a G coupe and I didn't really feel like copying him - lol. Plus after driving both I like the z better - it seems more like the untamed dog - especially on empty roads with lots of curves in them. I have less confidence when driving the G - dunno if it's because it's my dad's car or just because I've wanted a z since I saw it first came out.

350z= love at first sight! The Z handled like a dream, ergonomics, the lines, the curves, performance, etc... HAD to have it! At 90 yrs old I'll still be hopping out of a sports car.

Why I choose a 350z over a G35?
Cause a G is much more luxury and no plans of putting extra bodies over at the back that can dirty the expensive leather..
350z is lighter less luxury much sexier just being stock.
350z cost less
350z is 100% japanese product.
hahaha..

I like both Z and G because both are good in their own ways which is what Nissan intended. However, I went with Z because of:
1. Z Weight less than G = Faster!
2. Price cheaper compare to G.
3. Want true sport car without back seat.
4. G 6sp harder to get or find compare to Z.
P.S. I do love the leds tail lights on the G though! 06 and up Z leds tail lights not too bad either.

i am a big fan of the Z but the only reason i bought it was because the g was more expensive at the time, the cars arent that different. I personally think it comes down to wether if you want 2 seats or 4. Both are great cars but imo the G is sports/luxury while the Z is just sports

I just got rid of my G coupe and bought an 08 Z. Both nice cars, but what it comes down to is what YOU are looking for.
Despite what some of the people here have said, the G is also a drivers car. You add suspension components, boost it, and you have the best of both worlds...a can that is fun as hell to drive as well as being comfortable and stylish. Not to mention you have so much more room in the G to put a kickazz sound system in it.
While I am having fun with the Z, I do miss my G and I much prefer it over the 350. Just my $0.02.
