I am 6'8" tall 220lbs and in awesome shape. I have a lot of hand to hand combat training, and I am armed 24/7. If I found somone messing with my car they would be detained till the police arrived, so that the perp could be forced to pay legally. The only way I would kill someone is if they pulled a weapon on me. Then they would get to see the business end of my Sig.

Man I didn't realize people don't just fess up to something like this....so are you allowed to call the cops with 911 because you caught somebody denting your door?'

I don't think this'll happen to me because I always park where nobody CAN hit me with their door. Either in the back of lots, or half in the dead zone space.

Id have to agree here. I had a girl slam into me in the parking lot. She had to literally unmount her car from mine... 3000 worth of damage. But what can u do. Insurance settled it and i have my baby back. I pay it for a reason. Given i was pissed at the moment it happened, but it was just shock. But now, i just accept the inevitable and move on.

Sadly, your car will never be properly "straight" again, so i can easily justify being mad in that sense. But.. we all take that risk when we drive our car on city streets, so inevitably, there's no point worrying about keeping a cars frame straight, etc.

For me, depends on the situation. If its some guy with "headed to prison" stamped on his face, I would hang back, do the cell phone picture thing, or call the cops etc.

Door ding, that would be hard to prove and a claim might not be worth the rate jack.

The main thing is that I would not try to play cop, judge and jury
