Sunset in Seattle
Caught up with Seattle's own Sunsetman with his new LeMans Sunset, Touring, 6MT, Charcoal leather at Marymoor Park this afternoon. Absolutely outstanding color!
Also, Congratulations Da Gimp for pulling the trigger on the Daytona Blue 350Z.
Marczzzz and 3rdPower. Let's get those cars delivered.

First off, a big thanks to Bob for taking pictures with his digital camera and posting!
Driving impressions:
Z DNA is present immediatly with the visability very similar to my 73 240Z. Also, I like how the gears whine a bit, much like the 240Z does. The car grips the roadway very well. The stability of the car is evident will little body roll. I haven't taken the RPMs much above 4000 per owners manual. Torque is available at almost any RPM. She really wants to go over 4000 which is a bit painful. Exhaust is pretty throaty. Definately a free breather. Exhaust raps pretty loud at about 3500 and up. Will certainly have the fart box noise at higher RPMs like many of the after market exhausts have. Power band is linear throughout, ie no sudden bursts of acceleration. Driving is a true pleasure. This car has lived up to the hype for me.
Public appeal is more than I imagined. I don't think I have driven more than 15 miles without getting a thumbs up from someone. Heads turn everywhere. I suspect its mostly because of the Lemans Sunset color. The car looks different all the time depending on the lighting and the angle of the light. Color looks best when the sun angle is low in the sky.
The interior is very suitable for a pure sports car. Definatly above Kia or Hyundia grade. Just short of Lexas, BMW. Leather seats provide excellent comfort and lateral support. The heated seats apply most of the heat in the lower back area. I big relief to me as I noticed Audi and Lexus tend to bake your *** which is annoying.
The car has bulk to it. Should be much safer in an accident that a Boxter, M3, Miata for sure. I think an important consideration when you look at how big the SUVs are nowdays. I noticed the rear deck is got a big block of hardened foam material for impact aborbsion. I commend the Nissan engineers for this.
Lastly, after driving the car two blocks before buying it, I can't imagine somebody a preorder customer not buying the car because of how it drives.
My hats off to the Nissan team for delivering an outstanding value!!! This car will sell itself.

Unfortunately I could not see this in person but the color is jaw dropping... I'm very satisfied that I ordered this color. I'm looking forward to picking up my car in the next couple days (few at the longest HOPEFULLY). Great short review and cheers! We'll have to get together when I get mine. While one Sunset looks good cruising the strip, 2 will look even better together, ha!
Easy!
