Entrapment. They will surely be the catalyst in getting unsuspecting people to drag from a light.

And having your car taken by the police, well that sucks. F U CK that

 

I cant help but wonder how many people will speed only because of the presence of these vehicles...people who otherwise would have just been driving along minding their own business not doing anything wrong. I have no doubt that these cops will be cruising the fast lane, riding up on people in sports cars to see if they can egg them on and THEN pull them over to ticket them.

 

I seen something like it in Houston years back. It was a burnt orange Dodge Avenger. I knew something was up when I saw the dual pipes in the back. It pulled over someone zig-zagging in traffic...

 

It's happening all over, the cops using this type tactic to catch traffic violators. Be careful out there.

 

Very old video. But they can’t do anything to start the race or to start your bad driving. You have to initiate the race. But I would love to be a cop there and get to drive either or those cars.

 

If someone drives recklessly just because of a certain type of car in there presence then they deserve to get a ticket.

dont most states have laws against that. because that would mean the cop is breaking the law to try and get you to break the law

Yeah.....sure. There are laws against entrapment but they have ways to get around it. If they pull up to the light and rev their engine at you and you both gun it at the green I'm sure your going to get pulled over just like when a female cop is on the corner and shes waves you over and you agree on an amount and then boom, busted.

 

Yea I have heard of that happening many times down in Miami and people just take it to court. And they watch the video of the cop revving or doing whatever to start the race. And they get off the hook. But if you can’t get off the hook in Florida for street racing then you have the worst lawyer ever.

 

LOL. True. If you live in Florida you should never have to plead guilty to a ticket. If you get a ticket you should have 20 offers in the mail that week for traffic lawyers and you just pay them a fee and it gets dropped. I had two reckless tickets in one week and got them both dropped for a couple hundred bucks. I'm sure getting off for street racing is just as easy.

 

Maybe an example would be helpful to better explain what I mean.

Im driving in the fast lane on a 2 lane road. The speed limit is 55, I am going 65. A Cobra Mustang or a 350z or whatever comes flying up on my bumper. There are cars in the right lane and I want to get out of the fast lane b/c I have someone behind me who clearly wants to go faster. The odds are I will accelerate so that I can get past the super slow people in the right lane to move over out of the fast lane. And then I get a ticket for speeding.

Just one example...there are 100 more I could come up with.

Im not saying that just b/c a certain car type is around people should be allowed to drive recklessly. What I'm saying is that at the end of the day, had that cop in a sports car not been there, the speeding or whatever that the driver was ticketed for would not have happened at all.

 

lol.... yep thats here in charlotte.... heard that the police took it to a shop to make it back to emissions legal and the guy who worked on it said that it had to be tuned because of the fact that it is turboed and he said that it ran like s**t.... idk for sure thats just what I had heard!!!! I was told that the cobra was a beast though!!!

 

Exactly. The cop can't rev or entice, it must be the other driver to initiate the race.

What if you are a natural jack rabbit light person?

 

damn, now its going to be harder to avoid police officers when you cant even see them

 

if they are ridding that bad then that should fall under entrapment and you would probally be able to get out of it.
