My heated seats aren't working the way they are supposed to. The low mode works fine, but the high doesn't put out any heat. The dealer is going to fix it though, so i'm not worried. I have the touring model, and I have to say the Bose system sounds fantastic.

I've had no major problems with my 04 so far...but I've only had it a week and it has only 500 miles on it. It's also the dual trans. model...so I don't have the shifting problems. The only two complaints I have are the brake dust (thanks for the tip on pads, xcmpx) and, of course, all the stares...

Yes, I like it. It puts out nice highs, lows and mids. I don't listen to rap or techno, so maybe i'm not pushing the sub like some people, but for the style of music I like its great.

I have had the same problem with my 03!

Here's an unhappy update: The shift notchiness seems to be getting slowly worse. Very irritating...

hey.. yea the other guy's insurance is paying for my damages.. total is like.. $2400.. i live in the bay area and right now my car is at a shop called SCD collision center. their service is pretty nice.. the person that i talked to is called Richard Anderson.. and he claims that their shop is the largest in the south bay.. and it's fairly new.. 3 years..however, like many repair shops, they are lagging. they told me my car going to be done tuesday.. now it's thursday and they said they're still waiting for a part to come HOPEFULLy tomorrow if not, then i have to wait till monday.. it's sad cuz i have had my car for only 17 days and i've only got to spend like 8 days with it before i had to sent it to the shop..

I have my car for a day and there is no problem. Except I'm still learning how to drive manual transmission.

Hey, ths for the info. Why so much though? Was anything behind the plastic bumper damaged and needs repairing? 'Cause with the rear bumper only, parts and labour included, should not cost $2,400. Just curious????

Sorry to hear about your extensive damage. I guess I was more fortunate, I was rear-ended by a motor cyclist, so only his front tire hit me. It still hurts though because I had only had the car for 18 days, one day more than you......I share your pain.

I'm sure when you get your Z back, it'll be just as new and beautiful.

Take care of the Z.

I notice it's very hard to shift to Reverse on my 04 6MT. I know you have to push down in order to shift to reverse but I still shift to 6th instead. Does it also happen to your car?

Also I hear some "ting ting" noise coming out of from the bottom of the car everytime when I turn off the engine after 20 min of driving. Is this normal?

Default Very minor issues

600 miles and no issues so far. it's a little early though. let's see how it goes in the next couple thousand miles.

Updated: Very minor issues.
on my 04Track,600 miles my driver seat seems slightly loose if I twist the seat a little. I can feel it move just a fraction. My rear view mirror also makes the rattle some have been having. oh and I hear I slight hiss from the speakers when the car is on and the radio is off. Gotta visit the dealer but these are all just minor tweaks that need to attended to. Dont really bother me too much, more bothered by the idea of giving the car to the dealer to butcher.
