Default 350Z Blindspots

I will be purchasing a 2007 Z soon and recently test drove one. I know you don't buy a car like this based on driver visibility, but I was nervous when changing lanes becasue of the small, back corner windows.

I have had several sport cars and tend to jumps lanes quickly - always after checking my blindspot.

If this something you get used to with the Z? Do you have to rely on your side mirrors for lane changing?

Has this caused anyone accidents or almost?

There's a very simple solution without the need for the distorted view provided by those add-on. Here's how you should be adjusting your mirrors...

I get by just fine with the side mirrors and the rearview mirror. You'll get used to it. Just make sure to adjust them properly and you'll be good.

Doesn't really look too bad. It's what works for you.

There are no blind spots if your mrrors arre adjusted correctly and you keep track of who is around you.

Exactly. If you can see your fenders in your rear view mirror, they are not correct. You don't need to see your fenders, they are attached to YOUR car and are not going to get in the way.

Best mod I have done to my car so far... Also, they are great for curb finding (sides), if you don't trust anyone parking beside you... They allow me to hug the curbs without damaging my wheels, so I can get as far away as possible from the careless idiot who is undoudtebly going to park beside me... I love mine!

I have those little blind spot mirrors on each sides. The best advice is move your head forward and backward when looking at the mirrors. That should tell you who is beside you or not. I would always check my mirrors just to see who is beside me so that incase of an emergency. you can manuver out of your lane without causing an accident.

^^^ most respected answer.... except the misspelled words
also my dad thought me to always pay attention to the cars around you and always turn ur head before switching lane, but that advice is not BEST for everyone, some tend to look to the side a bit for tooo long and next thing you know they are in the rear of some car!

Those convex mirrors just remind me too much of old people driving Caddy's - no way in hell I am putting that on my Z. With my mirrors tilted way out, I am just fine anyway. And ditto to turning your head - if you have been paying attention to what is around you, you should not have to do that. But like everything else in the world - to each their own.
