Exclamation What To Do With Old Stock Exhaust System

Can anyone tell me what they have done with their stock exhaust system once swapped with an aftermarket? Should I sell it on Ebay? If I scrap it, can I receive cash for it? or should I just junk it?

I've seen them listed here for $50 so they're not really worth much.
It usually cost too much to ship so try to sell it locally.

Tried to sell mine for 50 bucks off and on for a year then gave up. It collects dust in a barn.

I gave mine away to a 350z member. Just tell them pay if forward.

I left mine at the shop that switched out my exhaust. Figured it wasn't worth hauling it home in the trunk and then letting it rust out in my garage.

Shrink-wrapped, boxed, and put in the back of the garage. One day it will be put to use. You never know. I did that with all of the stock components from my 93 Altima. When I sold it last year, I returned her to stock and my cousin bought her for $6k. He wasn't in to performance and the car was in superb condition.

There are people here and there who want the exhaust so they can go back to stock to trade the car in. As the 350z's get older you may find someone willing to take it off your hands for $50 bucks but it usually won't go for any more than that unless you can get some moron from Craigslist who wants to try to modify it to work on his altima or something.

I suppose it could be sold for scrap metal. Last year I put out as trash, an old, metal trash can out on the street. At midnight some guys in a truck came and took it.

I prefer my stock exhaust just to take up storage space for now, I may go back to stock if I ever sell.
