Default 2008 Nismo wheel hop........

So me being new to the 350z platform can you guys tell me if this is a regular occurance for these cars? When you leave hard enough in 1st gear to break the tires loose it immediately goes straight into severe wheel hop. This is with the TCS turned off. Not a problem with the TCS turned on for obvious reason but needless to say it concerns me. Penny for your thoughts???

When I brake really hard and leave it in first gear, I don't depress the clutch cause doesn't everything have twin-clutches?. This is with both TCS on AND off. I don't understand. I shouldn't stall or anything.

Not sure WHAT the hell that is about...

But as to the OP's question: Never had much issue with wheel hop...there certainly can be some but it shouldn't be terrible. Try adjusting tire pressure?

you have to run to the closest market and get a gallon of oil based paint. then go home and deflate your tires. once youve done those 2 steps grab a Styrofoam cup and fill it up half way with mercury and drink it. soon as u feel the pain kick in get back in your car and see if that fixes your stalling issue. id post a DIY but im to tired right now.

just takes practice not to do it. once you got it down then you can go back to impressing the kiddies at the local burger joints with your mad burnout skills

Look in the vendor marketplace. it should be under suspension. be advised that it is a pain in the rear to install.

I don't know how you are getting wheel hop when the stock Nismo is putting down 260-ish rwhp. I have an '08 Nismo, and have never encountered this.

to the OP, i have not encountered this, but it could be that your car sat in the dealership to long and got flat spots on the tires... did you buy it new? and only a short time ago? if it is flat spots, dont worry, they go away with wear... GL with it
