Thanks! That means a lot. I have been really pushing hard to get it closer to done. I love modifying, and I like the avenue that I have taken with this. I feel like I am offering something fresh and new to a platform that has been through so many builds.

what engine management are you gonna use... obviously not stock since the flexplate is no longer there with the 6mt... or have a custom flywheel made to have the trigger wheel for the VK? questions

May I ask where you got your suede dash done? and if you did it yourself, where'd you buy the material?

Diamond Dave, brandon,fl

He said he would never do it again. Lol. I brought him a dash outside of the vehicle too. It was still a PITA.

what adapter is used to put on the 6MT??? JWT??? or VKmasters??? with a titan flex plate and titan bellhousing you must be planning on useing stock ECM??? how do you plan on getting around no longer using a TCM??? hood clearance with the intake manifold... I found the VK50VL im is alot lower and JWT makes and adapter plate to make such things happen. just asking questions because I am very interested in this swap... but planning on using VK50VL in a Sileighty

We are going to use stock ECM, Osirus tune, dual throttle bodies, custom intake manifold. The adapter plate came from the gentleman at drift Atlanta. I am using a competition clutch twin disc clutch, probably hks true dual exhaust. I haven't had a chance to get anything worked out with headers. Driveshaft is being fabbed and should be done relatively soon!

Not a lot of progress lately... hopefully have the engine running in the next 2 weeks. The wiring harness is off being made at the moment. That really leaves AC lines ( a must ) figuring out the clutch flywheel situation and headers... then we'll clean up the engine bay and button everything up, cut a huge hole in my hood and call it a day.

No power steering but the belts on with an idler pulley and I will have ac for sure. drive shaft was perfect fitment, I am really happy about that, and the heater core hoses are on.

AC lines are done next is drop the engine one last time clean up the engine bay, spray it black and put everything back together. The headers are tacked, the transmission adapter plate has to be modified so that the crank able sensor, starter, and ring gear all function correctly, and still waiting on the wiring harness to come back this week *crosses finger* I should have a running motor in the next week or two.

I wanna ask you about your roll cage. How did you do it? I was thinking of having my dad build me one (he welds **** all the time, he's built like 5 trailers for his four wheelers, lawn mowers and other stuff).

Well I don't have a roll cage. I have a harness bar. Which attaches my top to straps of my 6 point harness. I would leave a roll cage to the professionals. Look on the classifieds to find a good deal on a new or used one.

if you do plan to sell it, pm me what you're asking for it. I might be interested at the right price. I would have to repaint it because my car isn't exactly green haha.
