I get compliments all the time about my Z and people stare when i'm driving, its kinda freaky because i'm afraid someone is going to crash into me or something. The only ticket i'm afraid of getting is one for no front plate, I wish texas would get rid of that stupid *** law

So how many rotations of the steering wheel do you have to make in order to go left or right?

I don't have a problem with it at speeds 20 mph and above, but anything below that and it gets pretty irritating. Back in Ukraine, power steering was a luxury, most cars didn't have it. The situation has changed a little bit now though, since its been 7 years since I've last been there.

I'll buy that for a dollar. My wife's last car didn't have CC and I didn't realize how much that sucked until I had to drive her home 2 1/2 hours on an Indiana highway. My right knee hurt for a couple days. Lame.

Damn, thats some insurance. Im paying 1400 a year for my Off road ram edition (01) and my 04 Z together.. (and my deductibles are $250)
I like the minimalist look of the interior and the smooth lines.
I absolutely hate the sharp bends in new cars.. reminds me of the 70s all over again *puke* at least with the Z it flows smooth in and out. only a few sharp bends in the metal.
Even the roof line has a nice smooth flow.
Thats the one thing I dont like about the 370 (lets not talk about the funky head and tail light config). The front pillar comes straight up, then slowly goes back. With the 350, its a continual smooth curve. Just.. gorgeous.
The bose system is good for a stock stereo, but.. if you like music, stock anything sucks.
The only thing I DONT like about it, is that it doesn't come with any cool James Bond gadgets.
Otherwise, she's just amazing.

So I've had my '06 305Z for a week and I absolutely love it. Here are my 5 favorite things about it, as well as my 5 least favorite things about it:
The Good:
1. It is fast and fun as hell to drive every day
2. The handling is incredible, sharp turns are no match
3. Just washed/waxed for first time - the car looks incredible
4. The engine/exhaust sounds sick when you hit the gas
5. EVERYONE looks at the car...people love it
The Not-So-Good
1. The interior (door panels) seem weak and cheap quality
2. The insurance - $200/month is sucks!
3. The stock sound system blows - horrible, horrible quality
4. Not enough room to fool around w/ my girlfriend inside! haha
5. The worry - I always worry about tickets and possibility of wrecking!
Anyone else have any general thoughts or reactions about their "daily life" with their Z? I'd like to know what you all think is good/bad about the car.
Have a good weekend!
Chris

for the bad
1. That's why they don't cost that much.
2. Who is your insurance through? Cause you're getting screwed!
3. Replace it, everyone who cares about music does.
4. Its possible trust me
5. It happens, just try to be careful.

Insurance Depends..Mine is $110 a month but im still on my parents plan ( im only 23) They said if i was to be by myself it would cost around $200 a month, so obviously i will stay on my parents plan as long as possible.
Yes the stock system sucks. I upgraded the HU and sounds quite a bit better, but need to move to the speakers next.
