i tried searching but i couldn't find it is there a place where i can compare the diff between a Manual vs Auto 350z

I'm looking at picking one up but i haven't driven a stick in so long and was never really good to begin with

what are the Pro's/Con's of a auto 350z i do not intend to mod it in any way and use it as a new Daily driver

If you couldn't find anything from searching, then you need to learn how to search.

This topic has been debated many, many times in this forum.

Differences:

Auto: Shifts gears for you.
Manual: You shift the gears.

Automatic transmissions make for less power at the wheels a lot of the time I believe.

A little broad but uhh...

Manual gives you much more control, the ability to get slightly better gas mileage, little bit more power to the ground, puts you much more in touch with driving the car, and has the potential for more fun.

Auto shifts for you. so...uhh...you don't have to shift if you don't want to.

The main difference is that you get to keep your man card and dignity with the manual.

With the auto, your man card gets revoked and you are required to put your ***** in a jar and give them to your girlfriend. At this point she is more of a man than you are so why not give them to someone that will get some use out of them?

even if you searched on here you would not find too many threads that are open about this topic because of posts like jekl1000 (and others)all of them get locked because they can't refrain from making stupid comments when it comes to auto transmissions in a Z.
there is nothing wrong with the 5AT in the Z. it has actually proven to be more reliable than the problematic 6MT. and if you miss shifting it you can always manual shift the auto.

The manual vs automatic debate is 6 years old. I have nothing new to add.

Driving a stick is way more existential than driving and automatic.

What does it matter if past threads are open or closed? Closed threads contain as much useful information as open ones. But there is a reason they get closed. Its a stupid question and deserves a stupid answer. So why take up server space by leaving open the same stupid question over and over?

Now I don't want to hurt any AT owners feelings by saying that I think buying an auto sports car is gay. But I will say that 'manual shifting' an auto while you pretend you have a manual is extremely gay and makes you a poser as well. Manual shifting is what you did when you were 16 and your daddy wouldn't buy you a real manual.
