Angry Finally happened...Hit N' Run!

Finally happened, last night I parked my car after a wash and wax and come out to it this morning and the front passenger right part of the bumper right under the headlight...

Ripped the paint right down to the plastic and streaked black paint across...

It will def need a re-paint job

What on average will this cost? Thanks...

PS... I have the Yellow with the Metal flake.

The cost will depend on the damage. No sense in asking what an average cost for repairing it is simply because you need to get it repaired anyways, so you might was well bring it into a bodyshop, have them give a quote and go from there.

Price depends on you. Do you want it repaired and painted correctly?
Expect to pay more. Pay less, and your car will reflect that decision.
In the end it all depends on how much your wiliing to pay.

I painted a 350z bumper the other day ..

I can tell you what the shop I work at charged the customer .. ($40 / hour standard shop charges)

body labor - 2 hours ($80)
paint labor - 5 hours ($200)
paint materials - ? (usually the same as labor so another $200)

plus a new bumper $300 ??

so that guy probably paid around $700 for a new bumper to be painted and installed ..

if the damage isnt bad then it'll be around 3 to 5 hours on body labor for repair / install

and bumpers paint labor time is usually around 4 hours plus the same for materials

that should help a little .. should be under $500 if you just get it fixed and not replaced

This is what scares me the most. I already had a G35 reverse TWO car lengths just to hit the front end of my car then peel off, all this happened while I took 20 seconds to run in a store to pick up a pizza.

There was a witness but no plate#. The witness could'nt believe that the G35 reversed so far. We think the G35 driver was jealous or hatin that a young guy was driving a Roadster or REALLY drunk/high.

I ended up with a MINOR dent, nobody can tell until I point it out but it still sucks that its there.

paint labor 5 hours .. hahahha.. what the F. how much of that includes waiting for it to dry? that would be like charging my clients while the OS installs even though I am doing other things and not paying attention to the PC.

5 hours to paint a bumper? You should be fired. I could paint a house in that time.
