Man that really sucks! Why do people have to be like that?

 

The pics you posted doesn’t really reflect that much damage, I guess is a good opportunities to get a aftermarket bumper now

 

If the insurance is gonna estimate a full replacement of the parts Im gonna wing out $1500. if its just the repaint though I would say $500.

 

Ya I dont plan on running it through the insurance until I get an estimate

 

Looks like nothing is broken/cracked/out-of-alignment, so hopefully it's just a paint job.

 

I had a hit and run in a parking lot. I have a 03 brickyard...i knew the guy who did mine and he charged 300...this is cheap. If the shop has to remold the bumper it will be more. A commercial shop wanted 500 for mine. They had a machine that they said matches the paint perfect to the oem paint. I told them they should just order the correct paint that comes on the car...anyhow...if you know someone, this equals cheap around 250 to 350...if not, expect to pay at least 500.

 

its not thatttt bad. my front fixed and fender replaced was quoted at 1100

 

And this is why you never see my z parked within 50 feet of another car, anywhere. I will park accross the street and walk if it is a small parking lot, I have been a victim of hit and run's 3 times now in my past vehicles.

Sorry about the damage, like someone above said, great excuse for an aftermarket replacement

 

My ex used to get mad at me for parking away from everyone else and making her walk. Fat *****.

if you repair and paint, then everything will run you around 450 including labor.

if you replace bumper and paint, then everything will run you around 900 including labor.

 

700-900 sounds about right just had some one hit me in vegas , but I needed a new bumper and fender. urs doesn't look that bad just a spot repaint.

 

I was just at my boy's house last night who happens to be my new Autobody go to guy and $300 for a bumper that just needs to be prepped and painted. But if work has to be done like some others have mentioned like fixing crackes etc.. then another 100 or so is not that bad especially if you can re-use the same bumper. BTW looks like that bumper can be fixed up and re-painted!

 

OMG Guys check this...I just got a quote from a guy who fed me this load of **** about how difficult it is to paint my kind of job. Well he grand totaled it at $679.83. I said what a random number do you just pull numbers out of a hat?

I need to find a real body shop!

That blows. Are you sure the person that hit you, didn't leave a note on your car with a contact number to be responsible for the damages?

 

Funny you say that, I looked and I even looked on the ground...NOTHING!

 

I had a hit and run today right in front of a cop. When the cop realized the car got away he didn't even bother chasing after it. Luckily I wasn't in the Z though. I hate my life.
