Zaino

I'm asuming silverstone is a silver color But yeah, it will make it shine a little more than other waxes, If it is a darker silver, it will really shine more. I have a white car, and it's still visibley more shiney than meguires. But it lasts forever id the part I love. The only down side is you have to use dawn on your car to get the previouse wax of first. This doesn't hurt because you rinse it all off first. If you are seriousley considering this, go to www.LS1.com in the show and shine section, they are massive zaino heads, with most of there members authorized dealers. They know all the tips and tricks about it

unclearcoated? Z3 I'm assuming. Are you sure it doesn't have a clear coat? Ask some people at www.LS1.com like I said earlier

I was told by a quality improvement person who works in the Smyrna plant here in TN that all Nissans are clearcoated. I also have a friend who has a 1998 black maxima with clearcoat. How do I know. . .well. . .it is peeling. It is due to extreme gravel road driving.

You have me second guessing his comments. I will get in touch with him asap to confirm. I do remember he said he had to look it up for sure. But like I said the black Max was peeling, I dont remember any metallic paint though.

It's the color combo I ordered and I too thought it was real...at first!

Well, I hope the stuff is as good as everyone says cause I just mailed in the check for my order (they don't take credit cards by the way) and it totaled out at just over $125.00! I got all the different stuff you are suppose to use including the "clay bar" and the Zfx stuff that makes it dry faster so you don't have to wait 24 hours between coats.
I'm going to try it on my Stealth so it looks good for it's upcoming sale later this summer to make room for the Z.

Can you do a 'before' and 'after' picture or two, and also give us your review of how well you think it works?
Thanks!

Scafremon, be careful when you aply this stuff - a little goes a LONG LONG way. Check out Miataforum.com under the car care section and search on Zaino. They have some nice posts, but the universal experience has been that you use way too much the first time, and it takes forever to dry before you can go to the next step. Good luck and let us know how it comes out.

Still more great info from all of you...Thanks but my wife is ready to pull the plug on the computer! Really appreciate the inclusion of the website. My favorites list is growing at an astounding rate!

As for me, I'm still trying to determine what I want to use. Right now, I've been saving various links to places (thanks for the miataforum.com link) so that I can do some more thorough research a bit later. This Zaino sounds pretty awesome, but if it is a process that has to be repeated to often, then I could see it being more work than I am prepared for.
Still learning about the various polish/wax/coating choices.

Well once done. It is really easy to clean. The Zaino really protects your car. And If you want more shine, just put another coat on! Thats what sells it to most people with lighter color cars. People with darker cars are sold on its DEEP shine.

Thats shine is scary! Do you have a pic from another angle of that same car?
What's the down side to Zaino?
