Anybody know how hard it is to replace a xenon headlight? One of mine has developed cracks in the lens, my dealer has ordered a new one (>$700), my concern is - can they replace it without damaging anything else? (my front wheels damaged by dealer during tire cupping TSB) My confidence level is low with these guys, but I don't want to leave the cracked headlight on the car either - - anybody else had a headlight replaced??

they have to take the tires out to pull the tire housing out and remove a few screws.

on a related note... you are replacing the housing? or the actual Xenon lens? if its the housing, let me know if your interested or able to sell the old cracked ones.

 

I'm not sure what they are going to replace, my plastic lens has some cracks, everthing else is fine - - all I know is that when they ordered the part it was over $700, I doubt I'll get any of the old parts since it's warrenty work - - I'm hopefull all they have to do is remove a tire, that's simple enough - lol

You should contact Nissan and report the dealer. Nissan is very specific about customer service.
