Default HELP! Nismo 350 or 370 with sport package?

"Hello" everyone! I'm new to this community so please forgive me if I have posted this on the wrong forum...

I'm about to purchase a "Z" but I have a pressing question... do I buy a Nismo 350 or a 370 with the sport package for 3-4 grand more? A local Nissan dealer has a few Nismos left from last year (less than 1000 miles) they have discounted drastically to move (10K off last year's sticker) which brings them into 370 price range -- base with sport package. I like both cars and I'm sure I will enjoy either one I buy, but I am torn on which one to get. After reading many threads on this forum, I understand the 370 may be a tad quicker and the Nismo may handle a smidge better, but I am wondering if the Nismo may hold its value a bit better (depreciate slower) several years down the road? Any of your thoughts is greatly appreciated.

buy the car that you like and you can afford. if you can not decide that for yourself then don't buy one at all until you can figure it out.

I aggree with Z04. But I also understand how you are torn between the 2.
If I were in your shoes I would go for 350 Z Nismo based on the prices you gave. Again it should be your choice.

If I was in your shoes I would get the Nismo hands down. The extra 30 HP doesn't make a huge difference like you said, because only a fraction of that gets to the wheels anyways. Plus you said you were going to save about 4 grand if you go the Nismo route!

Thats 4 Grand! Thats a lot of freaking money. Thats like ten hookers and a midget!

i think i would take the nismo. car definitely stands out more with the kit and louder exhaust. the interior isn't as nice as the 370z tho. u can't go wrong with either. it really depends on what u like and whats ur taste.

I was faced with this same decision, but I decided I'd rather have a rare car instead of one that was massed produced.

Easy decision, if it is an everyday car, I'd take the 370z. If it is a weekend car, Nismo Z.

I have the 350Z Track Model and I drove the 370Z with the sports Pkg. I must say the 370Z was fun to drive but I immediately decided to stay with my Track Model, of course I have a S/C in it with a few other goodies and 400+ hp. And mileage is under 17,000 still like knew.
And I would definitely go with the Nismo over the 370Z myself.

if your gonna get the nismo and have 4 grand to do stuff with them get like rims and intakes and it will be more beautiful than the 370 imo, plus i never really see the nismo that much and it will be more rare too see on the road, just go with the one you feel more comfortable in

nismo 350z for sure, if your a good driver, you will stomp stock 370z's at the track, and your car looks better and is a little more rare

but it is up to you

+1 for the Nismo. I got myself one earlier this year and so far I love it. I wouldn't go 370 until the second or 3rd gen so they can work out the bugs and add anymore hp that they desire.

Though, the Nismo can be a DD, I wouldn't.
