Maybe it's because I rarely see them but have you ever pulled up besides someone in your exact same Z. Last week I pulled up besides a DB Z at the stoplight We waved at each other but I felt a little uncomfortable for some reason ?

 

Maybe his DB was shinier than yours.

 

Maybe it was some sort of coy attraction.

 

Ever see someone in public that almost slightly looks like you? And they kinda look over at you... and you wonder if they're thinking the same thing.

yup...kinda like that. and he talked to himself "d*mn....ain't that guy ugly?"

 

i have yet to see another roadster on the road, but i feel the same way with my lexus rx 330. even if it is a different color, it feels a little weird. it kind of makes it feel not so special in a way. i would have loved to have gotten the infinity fx... sportier and not as common, but my wife wanted the lexus and since i got my z, it was only fair.

 

It's those altezza tail-lights that are making you feel weird.

 

Anyway, buzzdsm, maybe it's b/c your spouse is laughing at you hysterically as you wave at a stranger who drives your same car. That's what mine does.

 

It's probably because you feel the need to say something to the person, but the only thing that you can think of is "Hey, nice car" At that point he'll just say "You too" and then there will be an awkward silence until the light changes green and you're both relieved of saying anything.

 

Did his Z look bigger than yours? Size does matter, you know.

 

... after a bit of silence, you look over and see that the other guy is still looking at you. Then you say, "WTF you lookin' at?"

The Z cars are still a little rare. Rare enough for you to know he's looking at yours as your noticing his. That's weird. Unfortunately the rareness goes away alittle more each week as I notice more and more on the road. Oh well, can't blame everyone for buying one.
