If Nissan offered base at 23k, and the nismo at 31k, there is no reason people wouldn't be buying them.

but until the economy picks back up, I don't see the 370z being that large of a hit.
lol, 23k? so sell it for the same price range as a civic si? bwhahahahahahahahaaha! try to be a bit more realistic here. the Z is already the best bag for the buck sports car on the market, you cant expect nissan to give these things away.

The reason why I haven't jumped on the 370 bandwagon is because I want to buy a Camry Solara or Sebring convertible instead.

I'm really content on how my 350Z is put together for the track events i attend.......i see no need to change platforms and start all over when the juice wouldn't be worth the squeeze.....

I'm more interested now in buying an automotive lift for my garage, another (huge) air-compressor in order to run a tire changer i wanna buy too......so eeehhh....

It would take the dealer calling me saying they have a red or black nismo 370 in stock.
Once I see the Nismo in person I'm going to have to try hard not to upgrade.

For the stealership to give me at least $10,000 for my 05 35th anniversary with 53,000 on it, and to drop the price tag by about $10,000 because the power difference and looks difference isn't worth a $350 payment for 6 years, when I'm only paying $265 for my Z right now with insurance.

Ok. First off this is a good idea for a thread. Here are a few things off the top of my head I would need changed before I jump to the 370..and even then it may not happen.

I dont like the hood and roof design.. hood needs a bump like '07-'08 350zs.
Roof just needs to be flat I me come on..
I can get used to the head/tail lights. The "fangs" on the front need to go, just ugly.

Inside.um well what is up the fuel gauge being digital just make it analog to match the rest of the cluster..geez. and the 3guages on the top of the dash..what us up with the caps they have on the tops of them.. they look like they were put on as an after thought. Looks like they are stuck on with double sided tape?? and not integrated into the dash..

I honestly like the 350zs interior better. When the 370 first came out I was liking it at first..but the more I looked the more I did not like and realized that Nissan tried a bit too hard to bring back the look of the older Z's. In my opinion the 370 looks great from the side and the back. But to me thats about it. Very much the same feeling had towards the two 280zx's I've owned. Look great from the side and rear..but headon and 3/4 view looked like dog waste.

To me there are so many angles which the 350z looks great!! Its just a great looking car. I hope to own one soon :-). Oh and I have followed the 350z since before it was released always liked it/wanted one..and for me its finally time I can get one.. So hopefully before the end of the summer I will be a proud owner of a '07-'08 350z :-).

The 370Z is superior performance wise but is it enough to make you want to trade your Z in?

I think the 350z has smoother lines than the 370z.. I don't like the head lights or the fangs either...

Right now, the only way I'd get a 370Z would be if the 350 got totalled and I didn't have the cash for a GT-R. Although, I have to admit I'm somewhat intrigued by the Nismo 370. It is actually an improvement over the regular 370 with respect to the outside appearance.

**** JUST A REMINDER ****

The question is about getting rid of your 350Z and getting a 370Z. OP isn't asking what "other" cars you'd prefer over the 370Z. Keep the thread on topic, please.

Please explain the JDM look , or are you just throwing that out there cause you used to be a civic owner and think throwing JDM around is the cool thing to do.

i would love a nismo 370 but then again i would not like to daily drive a numbered limited production car imo...and its too expensive of a toy to make payments on plus insurance for that plus my 05 would really suck...

I would need to be able to keep my current 350z. And maybe a $25,000 voucher from the govnt to purchase a new car.

I did have a Civic once. Then a Corolla, then a Solara.
Grew up with Mazda 626, 323, Mitsubishi Galant, Lancer, Volvo, Citroen, BMW.
I think I know how to differentiate car styles LOL

I don't know why you're trying to mock me.
Didn't you know that your behavior reflects your family background? tsk..tsk..

IMO, the look of the current Miata is 100% JDM.
Manga-ish, clean sharp simple lines - and kinda cute looking.

Interesting, so you really don't know what JDM look is, we still don't either. Kinda just trying to be cool throwing JDM YO, its mad tyte JDM etc etc out there.

Well one thing, to be 100% JDM IMO the steering wheel should at least be on the right side.
