Default Which of the Models is the Best Value?

Question for everyone...

Which of the 350Z models is the best buy for the value?

I know many will say get the Track model because of all the great options, but what is the best model to buy? Like some of the options you get you can do yourself cheaper (wheels, audio, etc...) I just want to know what is the best model to buy if you cant afford a TRACK model but still want to put money into the car (wheels, exhaust, intake, audio, body kit, etc...)

Thanks guys.

Well...If you don't have much money. I would say the enthusiast.

Adds what you need. LSD, TCS, HID, and so on. But hey, that is my opinion. Some may say the performance, because it adds VDC and 18 inch rims.

So imo I guess it depends on if you care about VDC or not. That is, if you plan on changing your rims.

You really can't say because it is a matter of taste, but for myself I have to say Enthusiast model.

Is VDC really worth the price?

correct me if I am wrong but the VDC prove worthy in a rainy day. Since I live in southern California, I don't think I would have that problem.

prolly enthusiast. unless you really want the VDC, and then can you really put a value on it?

the 18" rims are stupid, and the tire pressure is hardly "big".

After looking at the model differences, I noticed that the best models are definitely Enthusiast and Performance models. And the only reason to get Performance would be having the VDC, which I'm not sure if its worth it or not. Still trying to do a little more research. The best about the Track and Touring models is the leather and Brembos, but not worth the money I dont think.

I almost got Enthu. but got a deal on a Perf. I must say that having the VDC is nice on a rainy day when you dont want to have to really pay extra attention to your driving...just hit the gas and you are okay.

Enthu would be a great buy too. I almost went that route. try a slightly used Perf?

The Enthusiast does come with HID only the Base doesn't come with it.

yeah base is stripped, it has NOTHING, even things that Id think would cost more to not put(like CC).

its a great platform for a track car, but daily driver, it sacrifices a bit too many creature comforts IMO.

enthusiast is the car with everything you NEED. the rest of the models just give you stuff you want. but what you want depends one what your goal is.

I think traction control is the applicable system when it comes to driving in rain, and the enthusiast model has it. If you're referring to accelerating from a stop without wheelspin on a wet road, it's traction control that is doing the work. VDC is more concerned with correcting oversteer and understeer in high speed maneuvers.

I agree with some of the others here that the enthusiast is the best deal. The HID lights are awesome, LSD is important for spirited driving, traction control is helpful in bad weather driving...with the other little things it is well worth the premium over the base model.

Look, you guys are ALL wrong.

There is no better model than the TRACK for best value.

No bias here.. ...

I wonder if the insurance is cheaper for Performance and up because of the VDC. I am getting Performance because of VDC and 18" rims. Well worth my safety on the rainy day.
