Default Rear Ended by a Drunk Driver...(PICS)

Rear ended this past Saturday. Sitting at red light and was struck and pushed into the middle of a busy intersection. Then he hit the accelerator and pushed me another 15ft. or so.
The guy blew almost 4 times over the legal limit.
EDIT: Forgot to add that this was at 2:30pm. How do you get that drunk...that early???!!!!
On top of that, he couldn't produce an insurance card and I couldn't verify his insurance today by the insurance company he said he had insurance with.
I'll just leave it up to my insurance to pursue him.

WOOHOO!!! This douchebag actually has insurance!!!! Just confirmed this morning.

Here are the pictures of the car at the tow company's garage.

Pity for you car that dude had obviously had a very liquid lunch. Hope you get that DB back as it should be soon. That's a reasonable shunt for the plastic not to pop back out.

Hopefully you are okay. It is only a car & can either be fixed or replaced. Make sure you get the best medical treatment necessary.

I did seriously consider it. I didn't even see the guy coming. I was in shock for a few minutes.

Sore neck and had a few back spasms Sunday night. The trooper estimates the guy was going 20-30mph. I took a pretty good jolt. I did take an ambulance ride to the ER. I got a CT scan and general check. All came out normal.

Thanks. I have some pretty good insurance. If drunky doesn't have any, I'm going to sue his **** even if he doesn't have any money. If nothing else to put a judgment on his credit.

No doubt. It's not as bad as I thought it was going to be after I got hit. I think I must have been in neutral with my foot off the brake.

Thanks for the well wishes fellas.

Your car can be replaced but your health and life cannot. Be thankful you survived and were able to post!

Sounds like the guy who hit you has a drinking problem. Who the hell gets that drunk at 2 in the afternoon? $10 says he is a repeat offender.

I agree. I'm not terribly upset about the car. Hell....like Kriller said....time for some 06+ tails and some other goodies.

Ouch, that had to hurt. Make sure you feel ok physically... it can take a day or so sometimes for neck injuries to show themselves. Seriously.
