2007 350z Help? Non navigation
I have a customer that wants to remove the factory navigation from the car. I am looking to retrofit the center dash pieces from a non-navigation equiped Z.
Does anyone have a NON-nav model that would be willing to share with me the last 8 digits of your vin? The dealer is telling that is the only way to ensure th right pieces.... BTW black dash (but I think they all are....
THANKS!!!!

Seems strange that someone would want to pull the factory NAV unit to me. I mean, weight savings and all is great, but this just sounds tacky.
Anyhow, are you sure the VIN is an indication of whether or not it comes with NAV? That doesn't sound right to me.

We are going to install an aftermarket sound system with navigation and the customer does not want a "dead screen"
The vin number is being given to my Nissan dealer parts dept to order the correct parts only...
THANKS!!!

The dealership is going to charge you a lot more than you need to pay. Check out Concept Z Performance. It is cheaper and the exact same piece. The image on that link is wrong, but you can call them to confirm it is what you need.
But I agree on keeping the navigation bezel and just putting a 7" screen behind it to send the navigation to. Much easier to utilize when you don't have to look all the way down to the radio to see the directions.
