Default Experiences with Intense Power?

I recently made some big purchases with Intensepower.com and I am trying to find some others' experience that might help calm my nerves a bit.

I purchased Powerlabs kit off of the forum marketplace ( copied quote into website purchase) through user IntenseSales and my card was charged last month. I also later decided on some exhaust which was charged about 2 weeks ago. After PMing IntenseSales, I was told my kit would ship 8-10 according to the fabrication schedule, Since then I have received little to no response about my order, when I called the number from their website, I got someone who told me it shipped but the tracking number wasnt ready.

Currently I have made numerous calls and have been told multiple things that my order was delayed, shipped but no tracking number, put on hold until I had to hang up, not answering the phone, etc.

Anyone else have these problems with Intense?

sorry for the long post, I just need to write this down to clear my head a little.

I did a lot of searching here, never found the first negative comment. My experience was great up until I started asking for a Tracking number

If it was shipped then there has to be a tracking number, that makes no sense.

just received 2 tracking numbers from pestering the phone rep. He was nice, but unhelpful. The numbers didnt take via UPS, I checked while I was on the phone with him, he said he would call UPS and get back with me why they didnt go through. I have some other reasons that I am VERY uneasy about this transaction now, but I didnt want to turn this into a complaining thread ...yet

At one point in time intense was regarded as one if the best vendors on this site. Recently they seemed to have let themselves fade away into obscurity. From personal experience their customer service has went down big time. I don't think they'd rip you off though.

I hope they didn't sell you a product that they didn't have in stock.

I've done a few purchases with them, they are not the best at the communication end of business. But they are one of the top shops in this community. You will be okay.

I believe thats exactly what happened, I was sold a kit that was not made yet, and charged way before it shipped, 3 weeks actually. I was under the impression that I wouldnt be charged until it shipped.

I finally got working tracking numbers late last night for the kit. Its still in the "billing information received" stage which still worries me.

All my concerns would be much more subdued if Intense would just contact me and let me know whats going on. (still havent received any PMs or email replies)

look at it from their side though man. if they have to have the part made it would be bad business to do it without being sure you were going to buy it. i would charge your card first as well if it was me. that being said, i know it sucks being left in limbo like that and they def should work on their customer service. bottom line is i would just be patient, i'm sure they're not out to screw you over. if all else fails you can dispute the charge with your cc company on the grounds that you never recieved the item.

I purchased the Tanabe Sustec Pro-Fives from Intensepower.com. I placed the order online in March and did not receive them to Aug. I was told the coilovers were on backorder and there were other customers who placed their orders before me. I was concerned that my credit card was charged the entire price right away. I would have prefered to put a partial deposit down until the coilovers came in. I was a bit frustrated on the time it took to get them but i guess its really not Intense's fault.

My experience wasn't the best but i can't blame Intense for the long wait. I would still place another order with them.

I thought I saw a post about how these guys canceled an order because they didn't like to be micro managed by a customer.
