Default We aren't invicible. Please, drive safely..

I received this email from my friend yesterday:

"By the way, there was a post on S2ki.com, as well as linked posts within that thread, regarding a very recent accident. I'll just tell you what I know, since most of the posts across multiple boards say, "That sucks," or, "My condolences (sp)."

"I'm not sure of the day, but I know it's recent. There was a car meet for Bimmer owner's around Orange County. This went from daytime to nighttime, and at night they went on a drive on Santiago Canyon; the route that leads to Blackstar Canyon, Live Oak. An Imola Red E46 M3 was carrying 3 passengers; remember it's a coupe. The Bimmer was on a curve when it crashed. The car rolled, not sure of how many times, and landed upside down. The 2 front passengers of the car were able to climb out the window while the passenger in the back was trapped; the car had crashed at an estimated 80-100+ speeds and rendered the car fubar'ed. The M3 exploded into flames, and the passenger in the rear seat was burned alive. Witnesses say they could hear him screaming for help, but the fire was too intense. His name was James, and he was a very good friend, if not best friend's with the driver. Another reminder that we aren't invincible."

I hadn't seen any mention of it on here yet, so I wanted to post it so everyone knows. If this has already been posted somewhere, then I apologize for the repost. But I just wanted to remind fellow board members.. it's easy to forget that we aren't invicible.

Drive safely.
