Default Need some opinions on my 350z!!

Ok guys..heres whats going on.. i purchased a 2004 350z touring with 70,000 miles back in april of this year....two months later i put on a greddy twin turbo kit with greddy exhaust and etc... now the car has 76,000 miles since april...it is my DAILY DRIVER.. ok..heres the big question.. what would you guys do if you invested all that money into the car and lets say later down the line your car has 120,000 plus miles..would you A) sell it and get what you can for the money B) keep it since you spent over 15 grand on it..and buy maybe a cosworth motor and full build and just keep it for as long as you want ??? im stuck because i do love the car..and i knew once i bought it that it had that much mileage but didnt realize that i was gonna do all this stuff to it.. i was sooooo close to trading it in this week for 2008 evo gsr but it had bad hail damage and they were knocking off 10K off sticker price..and only reason why i was about to do that was because it only had 60 miles on it..to where as mine had 76,000 miles on it.. but anyways i didnt do it..and i was thinking that maybeeee later next year to keep the 350z and maybe buy a cheap gas saving car and use that as a daily driver..

what do you guys think????

So you put all that money into the car and were ready to trade it in after just a few months? It sounds like you are more interested in that "New Car" feeling rather than just enjoying the fruits of your labor. I would say get yourself another daily driver. That will stretch out the life span of the Z and (maybe) keep you from getting tired of it too quickly. EVENTUALLY when you are ready to sell the Z, part it out, otherwise you will never get your money's worth out of it. Just my humble opinion.

^ I agree....get a cheap Civic or beater car as a daily driver. Used Civics are cheap, everywhere and will run a long time.

A-t-t-i-t-u-d-e's the name of the game, dude! You need to revise your attitudes towards certain things in life. Read the post titled "Why do we lose interest once the vision is completed". Great insight into human nature & the way we view the world around us.

Keep it and enjoy what you have done to it. Buy some cheap DD to put the extra miles on so you don't worry.

Modding your car isn't really an investment. You might as well mod your underwear for all the money you'll get back that you put in.

Keep it and put even more money into it ...........i would be thinking full engine build around 170k miles or so and get yourself a civic like everyone else says. Then you can have a monster car to tear up roads when you want and something to go to and from work during the week. Modding cars is a love hate relationship with me, its like you get one thing done to it that you've been wanting to do for a long time and soon after your done your like..............ok now what. I would get used to it and make this car your "i gotta get outa the house and just do some driving to clear your mind car" Everyone needs something they can enjoy by themselves and if you like your 350Z the hardest part is done.

Keep it. If your worried about the miles... don't. If you need to fix things on it along the way... so be it.

When ever I have to repair something I turn it into an opportunity to do a mod. Remember this is your baby.

It kind of reminds me of the statement "You show me a hot girl and I will show you a guy that is tired of banging her"
