YOUR WASTING YOUR TIME MONEY AND LIFE WITH AN RSX!!!!!!

Just warning to you once you get anywhere near 100k the car falls apart!! transmision goes starts to run rough etc... plus no one will look twice at it unless you mod it extremly well or rediculousely bad and then you'll be getting laughed at. The only 2 things the RSX has better than the z is more seats and great trunk space other wise Z beates it strait up. had the rsx-s for 10 months.
I love my Z

You are high!

A bolt on Si is not running low 13s, period. Maybe with John Force at the wheel, a totally stripped out interior, a super aggressive tune.............................and if you count a turbo as a "bolt on".

Avoid an 06, make sure the transmission shifts smoothly. Make sure the axles aren't clicking and the gas gauge goes all the way up with a full tank. If all of that is fine, chances are the car will be OK.

Raced a friend's non-HR 04 Z. He started to pull on me. He has a technosquare ECU, intake manifold spacer and RS*R exhaust, I had a stock 08 350Z at the time. It might have had to do with his PFRP doors and fenders, though. Now I have a Technosquare F-Tune and would probably pull on him now. His car has like 80,000 miles, he's tracked it a lot and the only things that have crapped out on him are his fuel level sensor and alternator.

The stereo sucks, made worse by loud *** tires. There's no cargo space and freeway gas mileage at 80 mph kinda blows (~23-24 mpg freeway) but the car is fun and totally worth it i f you get a model with cruise control.

what he said^, i have had all of those things go wrong and thats been about it (knocking on wood)...Also maybe some uneven tire wear on the older models, but i'm pretty sure that was fixed. Radio does blow

Kind of funny. The responses sort of separate those who've been around a while from those who are relative (or not-so-relative) newcomers.

I think I'll write a sociology paper titled "'The RSX Is Faster': Arrogance versus Sarcasm in the Online Automotive World".

It can keep up... but that thing has to work its *** off to do so. I have a 09 civic si coupe and I've been wanting to get out of it since a few months after I purchased it. The cars are cheap, they are a pain in the *** to haul anymore than 2 people because of the lack of torque, and unless you're going WOT, they are flat out boring. The only thing I like about my 09 si is the way it looks. I'm on this site because I'm looking into an 07-08z, a 2010 wrx, or a 06-07 sti.
