prepped fenders up.. will be wrapping in black vinyl, but the vents and the gaps etc needed to be blacked out.

^Nice

Have you vinyled non cleared panels before?
I had a problem with the vinyl lifting in some spots after repainting my front bumper. I only primered then sanded with 800 grit.

That's true. I've spent a good part of the winter testing oracal 970ra vs 3m 1080, the oracal vinyl I wrapped my Z with does not hold on recessed areas as good as the 3m. Once the panel spends a few days in the heat the oracal starts to lift in the deeper areas

@ qtip.. yeah the oracal is cheaper but really its calendar film.. not the best for the purpose of wrapping. About half the price tho.
Im horrible at wrapping becuase i always try to do it myself lol.. thats the first way to ruin a piece of vinyl before you ( and if you can even) get it off the roll and onto the car lol.

@Cmcurran.. lol.. bro i have more stuff "in stock" in my garage than most vendors do at their stores. I just bought new wheels, so now i can actually fit these fenders.

Rolled it forward in the garage hoping to prevent flat spots. Been sitting for about 4 weeks waiting on parts. Hopefully didn't sit long enough to get any.
