Hey guys, went to do a spark plug change and when I pulled out one of the spark plug coils, oil came out with it. This obviously shocked me and I have no clue where to even start. I want to double check the torque for my valve cover bolts but if they're all tight then could it just be as simple as replacing the gasket? Or should I look for something more?

EDIT:

More specifically, I've taken all three plugs off the driver side and the only one that had any oil was the one closest to the cabin

EDIT 2:

Just talked to a buddy that used to build engines. He told me that it's pretty standard for these engines once the o-rings go bad in there and I decided I'm going to delay replacing the gasket until I have a bit more time to tear everything down. Probably do a plenum spacer while I'm at it since the intakek manifold has to come off.

Congrats BMC! Wasn't your car out for about a year? I had mine in the shop for a couple months and was starting to miss it. I don't think I could stand having it away that long. Haha.

Well not today, but since I got my car back 100% complete earlier this week, I spent about four hours cleaning it inside and out...but I still didn't get to clean the engine bay or put back my front lip or rear diffuser

(re)painted my door handles black, put on my carbon fiber B pillars and washed the car.

Next up this year, shorty antenna, hydro dip center console, rear wiper delete, rims and possibly cf front lip

Dropping off my Cusco strut bar brakcets at the powder coaters today.. gloss or metallic black, perhaps metallic silver polished looking.. dunno.

I ordered a rare jdm cover in polished today, but yesterday i started adding y Dressupbolts.com Purple Titanium bolt kit and my Mishimoto air diversion panel.

I went to fast on the FWY and blew my master cylinder cover off.. sucks to buya new OEM piece as well as a full new carbon cover kit, but such is life.

wrapped my deade pedal before putting it back in too lol.

Cleaned her up real good and added a 5mm spacer to the rear. So now it's 18x9.5/10.5 +7/+10.
