i know a lot of people here hate plasti dip but i wanted to try something out in the engine bay.. im looking to get your guys thoughts (good or bad)

i plasti dipped the plastics where the battery cover and fluid cover are red. i gave it about 3 hands in about 25 mins so yes its ugly and whatnot but looks good in the pic and it was all to just get an idea of what it would look like. i passed by my friends shop who paints and he liked the way it looked so he told me to buy the cars paint and he'll do them for me for free

Got a custom Etune (UpRev) from Stillen's tuner; it has 4 tuned maps. #1 map is a base tune for the 91 pump gas that we have here; #2 is a performance map where I can run high octane fuel; just have to let him know what that will be and he will modify and email to me for perf. map. found out today that there is a place locally that sells a big variety of top grade racing fuels so I'll be checking them out soon! I have the Stillen V3 SC kit, so it's cool to keep it all dialed in with the option to go with race fuel if I want.

I installed the R-Tune Nismo intake the other day and just changed her oil and diff fluid (the auto bays on base closed before I could do trans fluid).

braking in my ATS deftforce LSD so far everything it's ok. not to noisy just on a parking lot turn (left) 800 miles more to go. but you can really feel the lock up. I have a feeling it's going to be a good LSD!! =)

I had bought some black Varrsteon open end lug nuts that are now rusting out. Yes, rusting out.

That's why you don't buy open lug nuts. They're really only for the track where they require the lug nuts to be open. As for daily driving, they don't hold up as well.

edit: they are a crappy lug in the first place. Will chip and scratch up from careful install and removal. That's more of a reason for the rusting. They probably saw 2 rain showers in their lifetime so far.
