I've read alot about this in the past and honestly the information is all over the place.

Thanks
Google, "aluminum radiator ground strap" lots of info. Simple 18 gauge wire and done. Everyone with an aluminum radiator should have one.

Thanks I've read through some articles/threads and will definitely be doing this when I install an aluminum radiator.

The coolant becomes acidic/corrosive and eats away at the aluminum. Changing the coolant and grounding it prevents it from happening. Something to do with electrolysis.

Got it. That looks like aluminum with an STD =X...

If anyone wants a simplified explanation I found this:

http://www.carolinarodshop.com/Store...ectrolysis.htm

So the aluminum radiator is an aftermarket modification that needs a ground because all other potential sources of electrical current (that causes electrolysis) in an engine bay come grounded from factory.

Please correct me if I'm wrong but that's what I concluded from information found.

Well N80 decided that he'd take the life of a defenceless dog today with the front of his 350.

Sad, wonder if he at least stopped to check the dog? Unlikely.

Could you show pics of other angles? I'd like to see how they look from the rear. Also, are they supposed to add aero benefits, etc.?

Cleaned up the engine bay. Custom decals and no more rainbow colors.
