Even that one looks like it has a single flange that should bolt-up to a regular exhaust flange.

Well its not what I did to it but more what I bought for her. In the last week I managed to get a good deal on the HKS true duel exhaust, got a good deal on a Carbon fiber hatch with glass and now just bought the Z1 Motorsport plenum spacer and test pipes all waiting to be installed and hopefully tuned byR/T tuning down the street! cant wait to get it all on.

Same Y pipe in both as far as where the v band flange is, bit the normal 2 bolt flange is where the OEM length is . Your momentum y pipe does not have the v band a foot before the 2 bolt flange.

Ah! So if I were to, say, cut the v band flange off and weld in a regular two bolt flange in its place, it should theoretically work?

If you were to cut the momentum y pipe where the v band is on the Motordyne pipe, weld a v band flange onto the momentum pipe, you will be good.

Not even sure that version pictured is right anyway, i think that was cobbled together with parts from the original shockwave.

As for using the other Y pipe, it won't work. If you take that pic you posted, the small muffler next to the y-pipe, combined, is the length of the stock system, or a stock replacement.

In any case, I guess it's sort of a moot point as the more I think about the poor service, the less I'm interested in throwing my money at them. I'll figure something else out.

Installed my front shocks/springs today. Clutch master, slave and rear shocks/springs tomorrow. Can't wait to drive her. Sorry about the picture, imgur kept failing and this site uploaded it sideways. Whatever...

Nothing but the best in every aspect from Motordyne.

Tomorrow for me. Finished installing the left front fender liner, had to mod it to clear the splitter hardware. Just got done with some bondo work on the front bumper, I found a bouble in the gel coat and it flaked away during the install.

What to do next ? Finally fab up the surge tank system or the custom intake.
