What have you done for your Z today?

Interesting. I knew that caster would be an issue along with camber but didn't really have an idea of what it would feel like with excessive positive caster. If I do the coil install before I pick up FUCA's I'll only drop the front ~1-1.25" and match the rear height to alleviate excessive positive caster and drop more once I have FUCA's to install. Thanks

^ Have you seen the new Nissan IDx Nismo concept? Shiz is like a new wave Datsun 510. They even incorporated rivet holes on the fenders and mirrors on the fenders. It's pretty kool.
Stiffened up the coilovers, put the sway bars on 1 stiffer setting and adjusted the caster for more negative. Took her for a spin, she's real tight and the negative caster feels a lot better. Also, had a pull in the steering due to caster being off. That's fixed about 97% now. A little more oversteer due to the adjustments. I like it. No alignment like a BOSS.
Also messed with some of the exhaust hangers and removed the rear mufflers heat shield to try and decrease some of the resonance at 3k rpms. It's helped slightly. Still resonance but slightly better.

So top photo is right after painting with just the paint code. I then proceeded to fudge it up by clear coating it and being lazy I kinda messed it up and didn't feel like finishing it.
Bottom is after going over it a few times wet sanding it then with some rubbing compound.
Hopefully it lightens up a shade more
Overall: pain in the ***

I just bought my 350z at an auction for crashed vehicles (copart.com). I had a white one but I had to sell it to get married and now after 4 years and a half I got it back! Can't wait to receive it on monday and start fixing it up!
ohh it's a 2008 350z base with 34700 miles
