Tire shine is flammable, Highly, and leaves it very greasy. If you work at any detail shop they use something called "Milk" or "High Gloss" anyway gives that super shine look and no greasy feeling afterwords. Not quite sure what it is honestly... lol.

my tires were so bad that I couldn't drive in the rain, and I didn't want to spend a lot of money since I'm looking for new wheels
they're in like-new condition and cost me $100 for both tires installed so it doesn't matter really, just can't go over 115mph in the mean time LOL

my old tires looked fine but they were dried out, I was starting to lose grip on the highway when bone dry which is what started to really worry me and since it's SFL I had to do something about it fast
I want to wait a couple of month until I can drop some money my z, keeping an eye out for new wheels in the mean time

Ordered some Motul 5w-40 synthetic and a ADD W1 V2 Catch can thanks to the advice of Bmccann101.
The Motul, in my experience is the best oil out there for high HP setups. It's an ester based oil and doesn't break down as easily with high temps. Car runs better than any other oils I've used, with the exception only to Amsoil. It was also recommended by my shop which uses it on all their builds. Only cost $44 for a 5L jug on amazon sold through Motul. It's a down right bargain.
The ADD looks to be a very high quality and well engineered piece. Sold through ebay between $80-$99 versus the ridiculous $150-200 catch cans on different vendor sites. Can is baffled, able to screw off, has a valve if you want to run a breather system, and a dip stick to check oil without having to take it off to check.
Also comes in nice colors of SS, flat black and blue, red, purple, etc. I purchased blue to match other bay parts.
Pics of parts in hand will follow once I receive.

yep, I have stock 17s ('03 touring 5 speed), they're exactly 235/50/17 and one of the only used pairs I was able to find in South Florida within the short notice

took my carbon hatch off, along with my carbon mirrors, and carbon a pillar covers. put stock hatch/mirrors back on. going to pick my carbon hood up this weekend after being repaired/painted. cleaned her up really good. happy with the cleaner look. plus won't have to maintain the carbon fiber finish.... and on top of all that, putting $ in my pocket

Well rolled out of bed early today with minimal sleep because the roomates friends woke up early after drinking and were still loud as **** and after getting my butt out of the house I ventured off into town. Ended up getting some Redline transmission fluid and also spent about 37$ on some stuff to make a housing for my CAI fun fun. Almost done with it! Gonna spray it with some ceramic heat coating once it is done and weather strip the bad boy. Not sure if it will make a huge difference but I could use even 10 degrees cooler in this summer heat.
Some pics of the cardboard cutouts I did. I have an Apexi filter with an HKS CAI intake
