I put test pipes on myZ last year and found them to loud and raspy for my liking. I added a cherry bomb to the y pipe and it sounded perfect for me.
The y pipe is a bit seedy so I bought a Stillen on the forum, cut out sections of it, and put in 2 cherry bombs. Seems a little louder in the garage, but nice. I don't like the looks of the band clamps, but they work great, and I can change out the $26 cherry bombs as required.
I console myself with the fact that we have the genuine thing (my wife's car, "Nemo", in our garage so WTH.... $7 EBay fix works for me
I GENUINELY don't understand why you didn't use GooGone in the first place to get rid of the gunk. And THEN you DIDN'T buy another 350Z logo to cover up.......the 350Z ghost logo........

Tried it first. No workee. Followed that up with rubbing compound. Still no workee so I used up my EBay gift card just for the halibut.
Izz all good, poseur logo coming off car today. Just gonna leave it alone, very mild ghosting and all. Better than the sneering looks at traffic lights. Hahahahahahahahahaaaaaaaaaaaaaa........
So what did I do to my car today?
Well, today, this:
No, those are NOT the top 2/32nds of my rubber showing I'm about to eat dirt.
Took the Z33 out for a second day of "testing" new suspension setup.
OK, couple days ago.... New Koni's, SPC rear camber kit, front UCAs.
See full write-up comparing Bilsteins and Konis here. (If you're suffering insomnia.)
Cheers,
Mic
PS If pics look familiar (from an earlier post of mine), yep, same spot - just below the intersection of Hwy 9 and 35, above Sillycon Valley. I'm a creature of habit... great testing grounds! Heh heh.

Reason: added location info
Prepped the front bumper for wrap and decided to omit paint between to save some change. At over 1k after all said and done, is pretty ridic. Added a lower lip to keep it from scraping.

Yea custom, been a challenge trying to make it all work with the various under panels. Need to order more hardware to complete this headache. Got it mounted on the car, about to wrap, should be done shortly.
