Replaced all of this with stock springs, shocks and new banana arms. Took me 12 hours working mostly alone (my son helped a couple hours). Next step is a 4 wheel alignment, after which hopefully Zeus stops looking like a German Shepherd with bad hips.

Edit: yes, those are Tein coils.

It's funny because if the hood struts came with the car from the factory some people would take them off for weight savings.

I own a '08 San Marino Blue 350Z Grand Touring, and was trying to finger out why in the world a neighbor would trade in their '06 Magenta Black 350Z, for a black Hyundai Veloster. I'm glad to see you still have a Z, but I'm not a fan of their newest lights. How's the handling difference?

The Veloster is one ugly auto.

For my 5AT guys, just got this new custom push-down shifter from a seller on ebay. Easy install and perfect fit. Couldn't stand the tacky oem shifter - it was just plain fugly. Not a fan of the momo shifter. This looks a lot cleaner and I'm thinking about powder coating it black but the silver is starting to grow on me... What do you guys think?

Looks damn good , I like my DIY **** better but not everyone has my awesome mini lathe skills

And it looked like a damn screwdriver on the wifeys car before I converted the threads inside.

Epic first post

I would take a veloster if someone gave one to me. They are no 350z though.

Errr I wish there were more DIYers for the AT shifters! I can see where the complications can be when it comes to the push-down mechanism but even so it can be figured out. Props though

I actually made that for a camry but it looked horrible that car doesn't have a push down button though. I actually made a bunch of them most are wood and some are acrylic.

As for topic I took the Z for a long winter first ride of the new year... My vdc and slip light stayed on for some reason but other then that took a 120 mile trip and snapped some pics in front of a tank.
