It was so nice yesterday that I went to pick up the Z and brought her home. Now it's cold and nasty for the week, so I won't be able to drive it until next weekend.
Honestly its a pain to clean the glass. I have to use a small rag to get in between the fins but in the end totally worth it for me.
I'm wondering if there would be a way to use a strong velcro so that you could essentially have a "quick removal" system for when you detail the car. Anybody have opposing thoughts on that idea?
Found them on Instagram. Zakustech is who makes them. If anyone is curious just google 350z louvers and you should find there website.
Wow, just two weeks ago as I stared at my "old Z" (my '88) and pondered other period correct add-ons, I wondered "Hmmmm, wonder why no one has brought back louvers to fit on the Z33s...?" Heh heh.
Interesting and fun to see their return. Next big thing?

Hook n' latch won't hold after a little time in the sun (not the hook/latch part, the adhesive that holds the velcro strip to the backlight.) As someone said, the original Shadow louvers had a hinged top and dead latches to hold them down in the rear. One time hardware beats software.

True. Good call. There's definitely a way to make a hinge/latch attachment, but I don't have the extra funds to mess around with that project right now.
