Painted my center caps. Well, the indented logo and name is painted. Gotta let it dry and clean it up some, but I took plenty of photos of the progress.

hydrodip project started! They say you're suppose to start with something small before you jump right in to the big project so I'm dipping my phone case before I start dipping my interior pieces. It gives me time to perfect my craft while preparing my other pieces because they definitely need some attention (sanding) before I dip them.

Got my Nismo keychains in. These things are legit, looks like it came with the keys. Ordered them off amazon well come to find out they are straight from Nissan. Weird you cant get them from their website or through a dealership.

Also, changed out my oil pressure sensor which fixed the gauge issue. Changed out the oil to some fresh Motul and pulled the front bumper to get her all ready for her retune at TopSpeed Motorsport.

Dumb phone camera that wont focus anymore. I'm gonna try and take some pics tonight after I Scotch Brite some wonderful GTM parts that rust

The bearings you just replace...as a preventative thing. Tooth contact can be accomplished with some marker. Backlash and run out can be measured with the tool below and shims added of varying thickness to bring it in spec. Spec is found in the service manual.

Made progress in the hydro dipping dept. Decided to try one more practice piece before diving into car parts and I must say I think I've turned a corner.

looking good, I've considered buying one of those kits. Which one did you get?

You should start a new thread of your progress!

I have a progress thread I'll update when I'm done with this project so I'm not cluttering this thread. I went with the black and clear designer kit from mydipkit.com
