Test fitting my tablet install, I ended up bricking my old tablet so bought a larger one. Seems to fit fine just need to continue sanding everything down. Hopefully I can have this completely done and painted in a few days.

 

Then how is that wired to amps?

 

I have both the SS undershroud and the Fumoto drain valve. One of the best daily mods for the Z, if you're into changing your own oil or doing other maintenance.

 

No amp, there is a small head unit behind the tablet. It's connected via Bluetooth.

 

This looks great, and very "Tesla-esque" but, forgive me, not trying to flame by any means but whats the advantage/purpose of this...

 

Especially when there is a headunit behind it that now has 0 purpose?

There's plenty of cool things you can do with a tablet Pandora, Torque/Dashcommand, Web browser, GPS, saved music ect ect. I like my Z to look different then other Z's which is why I put time into doing different stuff. Who cares if there's a "head unit behind it that now has 0 purpose" it's purpose is there so I don't need a amp.
